Glamping

This morning I heard the term glamping which means glamorous camping! So that's what we are doing this Easter weekend. Years ago we would head off with the children, friends, dogs, motorbikes and 4 wheel drives and camp in the bush in tents, we called it..... roughing it! And we had a fabulous time....that was when we were young!! Then later came Easter Rallies with the Harley Owners Group, riding to many parts of Australia meeting fabulous people and experiencing the special freedom of life with our knees in the breeze and wind in our hair. Oh but these days it is much more relaxing to live the good life on the road with the warmth of our campervan.......simple pleasures, like our own toilet and shower, hot water, soft bed and cool wine. That's glamping and I'm loving it!!

What ever you are doing this Easter holiday keep safe and enjoy! Happy Easter.

Fullness of Time

This ZIA was a lesson in 'don't stop, keep tangling'. I started wobbly, found my feet and somehow with a bit of focus it turned out okay!

Zentangle Quest

There is a wonderful cool breeze blowing through my window, after the heat of our summer I am ready for the leaves to turn golden and the air to freshen.

Thank you for all your birthday wishes, it has been a pleasure reading the delightful comments.
The winner of Fantasia is comment #7 from Cathy. I would also like to send another ZIA to Jakki. Please send me an email with your details. (pabmab4@bigpond.com)

Challenge #109 from our Diva was so much fun. A couple of weeks ago Maria posted a stunning idea for us to play with.  It's a way to practice perspective and effect with columns. Before I started tangling I would have said the old phrase "I can't do that!" now I say "Oh what fun, let me try that!" My perspective may be a bit off the wall but the effect is cool like the breeze.

Thank you Maria....you are the best teacher.

Fantasia Giveaway!

According to the dictionary Fantasia is a musical work not composed in a strict form or a mixture of popular tunes arranged as a continuous whole.

My Fantasia features toe tapping diva dance loosely spiralling (no strict form) with a mixture of popular tangles arranged to make a whole piece of Zentangle Inspired Art.

I really appreciate all the beautiful comments that I receive so this week, as it was my birthday, I would like to give Fantasia as a happy birthday present to one of you. Just leave a comment and keep watch, next week I will announce the winner.

Jane's tangle whyz is the The Diva's challenge this week. Whyz weaves it's way into an amazing pattern, perfect for a carpet or mat. The colour added is the left over from my cup of  Rosehip tea.

Frilled

One of the first tangles I learnt was meer. It is beaut for line practice and shading. I was thrilled with this piece and was careful not to over do it which is easy for me to do as I find it hard to stop tangling!
